Fun find!

Found these while going through some of Jess's stuff. So funny and sweet. In the middle we are swimming. I love her dad's hair!! The couch shows how we sit on the couch together after dinner at home... Hmmm the cats didn't make the pic!

In case you can't read her fancy spelling:

"Dear Parents, I love you so much XOXOXOXO Thanks for taking me to Hawaii. I will love you forever."

Here are some other recent #StuffMyGirlSays from memories:

Age 8

"Guess what?"

Me,  "What?"

She, "It is so exciting! Tomorrow James and I are going to do a page ahead in our math books!"

Age 8

In response to my saying she could not watch a show while doing her homework, "My brain has developed enough to do two things at once. Maybe yours did once too, when you were younger. Just give me a chance."

Followed by: "You NEVER let me do anything."

Age 6

"When people are 50 years old I am so amazed."

Me, "Why are you amazed?"

She, "Because 50 is such a big number and I am only six! -- 50 is after 40 and 40 is already a high number!"

Age 6

#StuffMyGirlSays regarding "the parties" she held in my belly before she was born. "There were other babies there mom but there were things wrong. They couldn't hear or speak so I was the one who got to come."

It should also be noted that she also said, "I can't remember anything about being a baby after I was born but in your tummy I do."

Age 5

"I like learning all this math about numbers"

Age 5

#StuffMyGirlSays while leaning with her chin against me and one arm around me, "This is how I hug when I'm tired."

Age 4

It is Earth Day.

She, "Is that like the Earth's Birthday?"

Me , "Yes, I guess so. How old do you think the Earth is?

She "Five. No Four. No that's not right. I think 25." Me,"Really? 25,but I'm 48. How does that work?"

She, "Maybe the Earth is older."

Me,. "Maybe." 🙂
