Age 12
Inspired by my questionable "baby on the stove" parenting moment: "That's why I'm so sweet! You caramelized me at a young age."

Sunglasses on because overhead light was in her eyes while I was doing dishes.
Age 11
After informing me that humans, with the most advanced brains of the animal kingdom, are the ones most likely to destroy the planet, "Who do they think would destroy the planet, kittens?"
Age 7
"I don't want to go to school today."
Me,"Why?"
She, "They must have computer programs that can teach me math and handwriting so then I could home school and have time for more duct tape projects."
Age 6
#StuffMyGirlSays "I think there should be a "Neighbor Day." Why don't you tell President Obama to do that?"
Age 5
I said, "Sorry Jess, I got sidetracked." she replied, "How much do you get the sidetrack?" too often I muttered under my breath!! lol

"If you have two appointments at the same time then you need a wife so she can go to one for you!"

Busted! For my over use of exclamation points by the six year old.
After reading a text I sent to Rob she said, "Why is that exciting mama? Exclamation points are for exciting you know."

While repeatedly hiding in the same spot, "How did you know? ... I told you to forget mom. Why didn't you forget?"
Age 4
Ouch! Regarding the connect the dots she did with a yellow crayon, I said, "That's hard to see." She replied, "That's ok mom, yellow is hard to see for old people. I can see it for you."
Age 4
On adding jewels to the dirt around a little tree she planted. "I made it so beautiful I can hardly speak."
At the grocery store. Very interested in the transaction at the register. Do you want that receipt Jessie? "NO! I want that money!"
Age 3
Jessie why is your bike in your bed? "He's very tired, I rode him all day!"
Age 3
"When you went to the baby store why did you pick me to be your baby? I wanted to be your sister."
Age 2
Jessie do you need to go potty? "No, I already did that at my house Saturday."

I received this blow up bee from the bank when I
opened my Sparkasse account in 1982... can't believe I still have it and it still blows up!
