#StuffMyGirlSays Begins!
Today is the anniversary of the #StuffMyGirlSays that got me started collecting all of Jess's sayings.
I thought it was so cute and went on to tell all my Mommy friends about it. My friend Katherine said, "You NEED to be writing all of them down!" It hadn't occurred to me until then! But I knew she was right!
Here's some more from memories this past week:
Age 14
"You don't have it in your heart to be bad.
You don't even have enough to fake it."
Compliment?
Age 14
"Can I have some cheese in a bowl?"
Dad, after serving a lovely pot roast with rice for dinner. "For what? I have more gravy if you need some for your rice?"
She, " I want the cheese to cover the gravy."
Age 10
"What is your best skill in Lego?"
Me, not realizing there were specific skills to be learned, said something like getting it done quickly.
"Following directions is easy. Don't you have something better?"
Age 8
When I ask if she is listening, "I listen better when it is about candy or electronics time."
Age 7
Disturbing #StuffMyGirlSays, "If you had to eat me or Dad who would you choose?"
This was followed up with, "If you had to kill one of the cats which would you choose?" I said, "I would never eat you or Dad and I'd never kill any cat.
She replies, "But what if you HAD to do it?"
Age 6
"It would be my honor to let you do that for me."
(LOL Carry all her stuff for her!)
Age 6
I was handed a pipe cleaner and bead necklace and asked, "Do you know how I made it?"
Before I could respond she said "With Love!"
(And I was going to say "Yes." thinking I knew the answer.)
Age 5
#StuffMyGirlSays "Mommy, I love Daddy but sometimes he's just TOO helpful."
Like cleaning up toys she was still playing with! LOL
Age 5
"I just like to sing songs as they appear in my head..." (much song ensues!)
Age 5
#StuffMyGirlSays "I just want it to be the way I want. All the time."
Age 4
"Mommy, I love you to the farthest star that nobody can find and back!"
Age 3
I told Jessie I was getting Daddy flowers because we are celebrating Romance week... she said, "You should get Daddy Cheetos because he REALLY likes those!"
Age 2
"Mommy please I may have a choc choc?"
