Fairy Love
Jess always loved Fairies. In those early days we spent a lot of time making friends with them and imagining what it would be like when we were one!

"Mommy, here is some fairy dust. (applies invisible dust with cotton ball) Now you can fly with us. Come on. It be so fun!"
We were inspired to make "Peg Doll Fairies" because of Peggy Bloom 's fun invitation on her webloomhere.blogspot.com blog! After these sweet ones we moved on to making other fairy dolls. Both Jess and I got pretty Fairy crazy at this point.

J wants to catch a Fairy --- she suggested we post this sign by a small hole under our garage door: "Welcome here fairies. Scrape. Scrape. Scrape and crawl on your belly to come in the hole. A cute house (made from a shoebox) is in here that has candy (jelly beans) in it."
"I am going to ride on leaves and do other tricks when I am a fairy mommy."

#StuffMyGirlSays "Do you want to be a fairy? There is no maybe. Yes or no?"

This next year was the year we made a fairy garden in the back yard. Daddy built the platform and then we went to the gardening shop for plants and things. In retrospect we should have done it a couple years earlier. She lost interest pretty quickly after wishing for one for a couple of years.
(Tinkerbell would remain interesting but regular fairies lost favor after this. I'll do separate post on Tinkerbell in another post.)
