"Yay, you passed the love test!"

Me: "I did? Cool. How?"

She: "You said you wouldn’t sell or kill me for a million dollars."

This always cracks me up, but today it got me thinking. Jess didn’t need any big tests to love. She gave her “I love yous” freely and without expectation, sprinkling them everywhere she went.

When I look at my own heart, I see how often my love comes with conditions—whether I mean it to or not. But Jess’s example reminds me that love doesn’t need a reason, a hard test, or a condition to be given.

So here’s a little nudge: what if we all loved more freely? Without holding back, without expectation? Let’s follow Jess’s lead and spread our “I love yous” today—freely, generously, and just because.

The world could always use more of that kind of love. ❤️
