A handful of carnations were thrust in my hands, "I'm going to do the best dance show you ever saw! When I'm done, you'll know because I will bow like this (demonstration given) then you throw the flowers at me."

Age 2

😂 A squeal of delight! "Look mommy we have fairy dust at our house!" I find Jessie blowing dust off the shutters into the sunlight. (I definitely feel better about not dusting now!

A very angry outcry comes from the bathroom where Jessie is "measuring."

"Three halfs is all over me! Three halfs is too much!

Jessie to her friend Lillian on a walk from the farm yesterday: "You hold my

hand Lill-lil-ya? Thank you for holding my hand my friend Lill-lil-ya."
