Rob shares the Smudge Love!

 

I know some have seen this on IG but wanted to post here too ... Jess loves Smudge! 😻 For anyone who doesn't know Smudge (aka Smudger, and "Butter" - which only she was allowed to use) has been Jess' cat since she was about 6yrs old.

Jess and her Mom went to a cat adoption event one day and apparently Smudge reached through the cage and pawed at Jess, thus forever having picked her. I arrived home that afternoon to a pleading that we HAD to go get this cat that had picked her. I really wasn't looking to have a pet at the time, but she won and we've loved having him and his sister (2 for 1 adoption! 😹) ever since.

Smudge loved hanging out cuddling with Jess on her bed, and I know many have received that random text photo of her laying around with him.

Smudge can tell something is different and he looks for Jess sometimes. This morning he knew it was Saturday so he was through her bedroom cat door and up onto her bed and into his nest looking confused - Saturday should be a prime cuddle morning. We are giving him lots of love and down the road we plan to have some over for "hang out with Smudge" time. 🐈♥️
