Love from Lisa

This is by far the hardest post I’ve ever written, as my heart and mind are still struggling to comprehend the unimaginable loss of Jessica Sprinkle, who was in a tragic car accident last week. Jessie was a classmate of Beckett’s at Mulberry School. For those who may not know, Mulberry is a parent participation school, which gave me the privilege and pleasure of spending time in the classroom every week. Being there with Jessie was always a special experience—she felt like a daughter to me too.

Thank you Kathy Funke Sprinkle for sharing her with me. My heart breaks for you and Rob. Jessie’s bright spirit illuminated every moment, and knowing and loving her over the past 12 years has been one of life’s greatest gifts. I will always cherish the memories we shared—her kindness, laughter, and beautiful soul will remain with me forever.

I’ve had the joy of capturing many photos of Jessica over the years, but this one stands out as a favorite, perfectly reflecting her love and joy.

If you pray, please hold Jessica’s family, friends, and the families of the other girls involved in the accident close in your thoughts and prayers.
